IAMKIND began in a school lunch break with a small group of students dedicated to random acts of kindness. As teachers, we noticed these students were quick to help others, but often struggled to show the same compassion to themselves. This insight sparked the creation of our programs and journals, built on five simple principles: self-love, gratitude, kindness, purpose, and reflection.
What started as small community initiatives has grown into programs across schools, sporting clubs, and large-scale events—always grounded in one belief: kindness has the power to change lives. Both of us have faced personal challenges and continue to lean on these principles to live kinder, happier, and more fulfilled lives. That’s why IAMKIND exists—because we believe everyone deserves tools for mental wellbeing and connection.

Why It Matters
Anxiety and depression are among the biggest challenges facing individuals and communities today. Too often, people suffer in silence, unsure where to turn. IAMKIND offers a simple, everyday model for preventative mental health. Our five principles help reduce stress, build resilience, and strengthen communities. We believe it doesn’t take money, status, or special skills to make a difference—just the willingness to take one small step. By living these principles, we can create a culture where people feel valued, connected, and inspired to live kinder, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
Mission & Values
Mission: To empower people with practical tools to care for their mental health, build resilience, and live purposeful, connected lives.
Kindness: Doing something thoughtful for others, big or small, without expecting anything in return. Kindness uplifts both the giver and receiver and strengthens communities.
Self-Love: Accepting who you are and treating yourself with the same compassion you show others. It builds resilience, reduces self-criticism, and helps you bounce back from challenges.
Gratitude: Noticing and appreciating the positives, even in small moments. Gratitude shifts focus away from stress and creates more optimism and hope.
Purpose: Aligning your actions with what matters most to you. Purpose brings direction, motivation, and deeper life satisfaction.
Reflection: Pausing to look inward, learn, and grow. Reflection fosters self-awareness, helps us recognise progress, and guides positive change.
Community & Connection: At the heart of IAMKIND is belonging. We are stronger together, and through shared experiences we create impact that lasts.
Wellbeing Journal
The IAMKIND Wellbeing Journal is more than a place to write — it’s a guided tool to help you live with intention, strengthen your mental health, and bring kindness into everyday life. Built around our five principles of Self-Love, Gratitude, Kindness, Purpose, and Reflection, each page is designed to support your wellbeing in simple, practical ways.
The journal takes you on a journey of building self-efficacy, discovering your values, embedding gratitude, and practicing kindness toward others. Along the way, you’ll reflect deeply, grow through service learning and real experiences, and ultimately design your own personal purpose project for lasting growth.
The journal is flexible enough to fit into any lifestyle — whether you’ve got five minutes in the morning, or want to take a deeper dive at the end of your week. Teachers use it in classrooms, workplaces use it to strengthen culture, and individuals use it as a personal anchor in busy lives.
Every journal sold also helps fund IAMKIND programs and community initiatives — meaning your personal growth directly supports others in building resilience and connection too.
One small habit can make a big difference. Start your journey today.
